Who We Are
Officers of the First Division is organized exclusively for
the following purposes:
1. Foster esprit de corps among the officers of the First Infantry Division of the United States Army through annual dinners of veteran officers of the Division who have served with the Division in combat. Officers currently serving with the Division are given the opportunity to attend the dinner where they can join veteran combat officers of the Division to commemorate the Division's accomplishments and honor the sacrifices of the fallen.
2. To carry on programs
to perpetuate the memory of deceased combat veteran U.S. First Infantry Division personnel and to comfort their
3. To sponsor and participate in activities of a patriotic nature to include

4. To provide social and recreational activities and organize ceremonial military events for its members.
Membership in the Officers of the First Division is limited to war veterans
who are U.S. citizens and who served with the United States Army First
Infantry Division in combat as a commissioned officer or warrant officer when
the Division participated in World War I, World War II, Republic of Vietnam,
Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Afghanistan, other combat locations during The
War on Terrorism, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. If
