No Mission To Difficult — No Sacrifice To Great Duty First
Who We Are
Officers of the First Division is organized exclusively for
the following purposes:

1. To carry on programs to perpetuate the memory of deceased veteran     officers and men of the U.S. First Infantry Division and to comfort their     survivors.

2. To sponsor and participate in activities of a patriotic nature to include the     perpetuation of the combat espirit of the First Infantry Division.

3. To provide social and recreational activities and organize ceremonial military     events for its members.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Officers of the First Division is limited to war veterans who are U.S. citizens and who served with the United States Army First Infantry Division in combat as a commissioned officer or warrant officer when the Division participated in World War I, World War II, Republic of Vietnam, Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Afghanistan, other combat locations during The War on Terrorism, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
